We have five service personnel to deal with your preventive maintenance, repair or troubleshooting needs.

Service Manager Andrew Rhyno

Service Manager

Andrew has over 20 years experience as a hydraulic technician and Service Manager. He visited several projects as our travelling sales associate over the past several years. As Service Manager, with an IFPS certificate, he is well equipped to advise on projects from overhauling a cylinder to troubleshooting a hydraulic power unit.

Head Hydraulic Technician Greg Nickerson

Head Hydraulic Technician

Greg has over 25 years experience with Strictly Hydraulics in the Service Department. He has built the service department and its reputation as doing “Our Best Work under Pressure” based on a commitment to get the job done right the first time. As an IFPS certified Hydraulic Specialist Greg has the knowledge to deal with the wide variety of services from installation, pressure testing, flushing and troubleshooting.

Hydraulic Technician Laurent Michaud

Laurent Michaud

Hydraulic Technician

Trained as a mechanic, Laurent served 23 years with the Navy as a weapons technician and Head Hydraulic Instructor at the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering School. Post Navy experience includes Man-Lifts, MI-JACK Cranes and he is versed in electrical trouble shooting. Laurent joined Strictly Hydraulics in the fall of 2016

Hydraulic Technician Shannon Kinney

Shannon Kinney

Hydraulic Technician

Shannon has over 30 years as a machinist, fabricator and welder. He learned his trades on the job with several New Brunswick fabrication shops before moving with his wife and daughter to Halifax recently. He has certifications in welding and fabrication from New Brunswick Community College. His projects have included hydraulic cylinders, pressure dies and even dies for musical cymbals.

Hydraulic Technician Ryan Kilburn

Ryan Kilburn

Hydraulic Technician

Ryan trained as an auto mechanic in his native Blackpool, UK and worked with a large farm equipment manufacturer for five years. He came to Nova Scotia after attending a UK job fair in 2013. He joined Strictly Hydraulics in August, 2015 and is working towards certifiction by the International Fluid Power Society.
